Time to book for Glyndebourne opera
With Die Zauberflote, more commonly known as The Magic Flute, already sold out, now is the time to book your tickets for the Glyndebourne Festival if you are thinking of coming this summer.
Tickets for the other operas are still available right now. These include Barber of Seville, La damnation de Faust, Cendrillon – a production of the Cinderella story, Rusalka and Handel’s Rinaldo.
We also recommend that you book your accommodation at the same time because some Short Stay Lewes properties are also fully booked for certain dates. Furthermore, with Pelham House Hotel now closed, there will be more pressure on lovely places to stay than in previous years. Short Stay Lewes
offers a range of a fabulous independent accommodation both in Lewes and out of the town, in the surroundings villages, so you can choose what sort of break you want.
The advantage of Short Stay Lewes for selecting accommodation is that you can check instantly which properties have availability for the required dates for your opera visit. Then you can decide which bed and breakfast or studio suits your needs and book immediately online.
There is so much to do in and around this area of East Sussex that it’s worth thinking about a longer stay to take in some of the delights while you are here – there’s everything from National Trust houses and gardens to visit, such as Nymans, Sheffield Park, Standen and Great Dixter, to seeing Charleston, walks on the South Downs and mooching around Lewes and Brighton.
So getting booking now and you can look forward to your opera and stay come summer.
